A multiverse is an atheist’s Big Bang Belief validation. The untestable inferences from math equations provide an atheistic hope disguised as a belief. The universe is exquisitely fine-tuned for man’s existence, and the multiverse myth is a debating tactic, not science. Many have argued that some of the most compelling evidence for design in nature is the required fine-tuning of the universe to support life. Namely, a life-permitting universe requires that various parameters be set within a narrow range of possible values. Examples include the strength of the fundamental forces of nature (e.g., gravity), the masses of particles (e.g., electrons), and the universe’s initial conditions (e.g., initial energy density).

Deniers of God’s existence have clung to one main gambit to avoid the design implications of the universe’s fine-tuning — the multiverse. The multiverse is a theoretical inference drawn from the mathematical description of the Big Bang’s early moments. The equations of relativity imply the existence of many companions “universes” to ours. We cannot observe them, which makes their status as scientific observations dubious. But the multiverse has, for atheists, played a much more important role than that ordinarily played by untestable inferences from equations. Drawing statistical inferences from unobservable universes only makes sense in a script from Star Wars. It has no place in astrophysics.

Core collapse supernovae would not occur, essential for producing and distributing sufficient oxygen for a life-permitting universe.
The time required for galaxy and star formation would delay their genesis until a time dangerously close to the age when the universe expanded rapidly due to the cosmological constant/dark energy. After that point, planets would never form, thus precluding the possibility of life.
Radioactive decay of heavy elements would not occur, so planets’ cores would cool more quickly. The rapid cooling would cause a lack of volcanic activity. This activity is essential for maintaining a stable greenhouse effect on Earth-like planets so that habitable temperatures would be far less probable.
There is no serious challenge to the fine-tuning argument.
