The Bible says a person is a whole person with consciousness, desires, and emotions. The book of Proverbs says, “The laborer’s appetite works for him” (Proverbs 16:26).
The soul and the spirit are the two primary immaterial parts that Scripture ascribes to humanity. It is not very clear to discern the precise differences between the two. The word spirit refers only to the intangible facet of society. Human beings have spirits, but we are not spirits.
At death, the soul immediately goes to be with God or to go to hell.

The spirit, or immaterial part of human beings, the seat of human personality, intellect, will, and emotions, is regarded as an entity that survives the body after death.
(Job 32:8) There is a clear distinction between the spirit of man and the Spirit of God. Proverbs 20:27;
ALONG THE WAY, YOU MUST ACCEPT GOD’S EXISTENCE, Jesus AS HIS SON, AND ACKNOWLEDGE JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR.
Also, DO GOOD.
The Spirit of God inhabits the human spirit. The spirit in you is a unique being by itself and is inactive and alienated from the life source of God because of the fallen state.
Your life is a litmus test of your ability to overcome evil.
When you die, if your residence to evil has been high enough, you will go to Heaven. This will be your ticker to get in; your soul goes on.
If your soul does not pass, it goes to Hell.
At death, the soul immediately goes to be with God, and personal existence is continuity. There is no interruption of life at the end of this life, but we continue to be alive in our souls.
After the body dies, you can have the soul go on. The body can be destroyed; but the soul gets out just before death takes over.
The Three Parts of man are Spirit, Soul, and Body.
The spirit, possess God-consciousness.
It is constructed as a two-way transmitter for data, thought, and voice communication, so that we are kept in contact with God. (John 4:24; Romans1-9-).
In the spirit, God as the Spirit dwells in the soul.
Some humans will have eternal life in the afterlife, either in heaven or hell.
Some souls will continue to exist in the afterlife.
Some souls will continue to exist in the afterlife.
THE BATTLE IS NEVER OVER, AS THE WAR AGAINST EVIL RAGES ON.
