• Materialism is a form of philosophical monism that holds that matter is the fundamental substance in nature and that all things, including mental states and consciousness, are results of material interactions of material things. In science, the application of the reductionist paradigm consists of splitting reality into separate entities and studying their functioning
  • SCIENCE, FOR THE MOST PART, BELIEVES, “DON’T QUESTION OUR CONCLUSIONS; WE CAN’T POSSIBLY BE WRONG.”
  •  WHAT From geocentric to heliocentric: A shift in understanding the solar system, from Earth-centered to Sun-centered. It is at the very bedrock of physics and philosophy that the paradigm is now being breached, particularly with regard to evolution, consciousness, and the nature of reality.
  • In the context of quantum mechanics, “emergent reality” suggests that the macroscopic, everyday reality we experience is not fundamental but arises from the interactions and properties of the quantum realm at a fundamental level, like entanglement or quantum fields, rather than being a separate, pre-existing entity with wave-like properties (such as wavelength and frequency). We can see this when we observe light traveling through a prism.
  • This paradigm, prevalent in science and philosophy, posits that reality can be understood by breaking down complex systems into their fundamental, material components (like atoms, molecules, etc.).
  • Limitations of Reductionism:
While successful in many areas, reductionism faces challenges in explaining complex phenomena like consciousness, emergent properties of systems, and the interconnectedness of living systems.
  • Emergence of Alternative Paradigms:
There’s a growing recognition of the limitations of a purely reductionist approach, leading to the rise of
    • Systems thinking focuses on understanding the interconnectedness and interactions within complex systems rather than solely on individual components.
    • Holistic Approaches: Emphasize the importance of considering the whole system, including its environment and context, rather than just individual parts.
    • Systems Biology: Aims to study biological systems as a whole, rather than just individual components.
Darwinism is constantly increasing as science delves deeper into the world of the cell. Some of the issues with Darwinism include the fact that after 160 years the theory is still unable to either explain or show how life itself originated. There is absolutely no evidence of macroevolution. There are major problems with the fossil record -statistically, it has been shown that the probability of complex life arising by chance is exceedingly slim. The information content and genetic complexity of living organisms cannot be explained by natural selection acting on random mutations alone, as over 99.9% of mutations are harmful.

  • Examples of Paradigm Shifts:
  • Material reductionism declares that only the material world (matter) is authentic. It argues that all processes and realities observed in the universe can be explained by reducing them to their most basic scientific components, such as atoms, molecules, etc.
    • Material reductionism is the prevailing metaphysical view that reality can only be understood in non-conscious physical stuff. This is at odds with typical experiences, the flow of time, and the “be here now” perceptions of reality.
    •  The times are changing, one more time. The materialist reductionism paradigm is being replaced. The new one will include science, philosophy, and the cause of it all: the event originator.
    • The human brain has the ultimate authority concerning its experience of creation. We are conscious actors on a vast, intricate stage.
    • Multifaceted stage of reality, comprising countless ineffable otherworldly realms.
    • An information-theoretic paradigm shift is underway. Information theory is the scientific study of digital information’s quantification, storage, and communication. In this participatory universe, all things physical are information-theoretic. The quantum information system runs things at the quantum level. Quantum information is encoded within the atomic level of the quantum system. Quantum information can be measured using Von Neumann entropy.
    • The world exists only if we take part in its construction. We can know things only relative to ourselves. Knowledge is restricted to the effects of things that we perceive. Contrary to the usual assumption, the mind never experiences what is “out there” apart from the reason in some evident, undistorted mirroring of experiences. In physics, information is a difference of accurate information (difference of negative entropy) between the two states. Probability distribution functions represent the states; this information is a formal operator of the two parts.
    • Consciousness is part of the cosmic fabric. The current materialistic and reductionistic scientific worldview is being broken by exposing a mind-matter relationship. Mind is over matter, not the other way around. Slowly, the problems within the current scientific paradigm are being addressed. Once you get over yourself, alternate realms are beyond the waking mind.
  • The master blueprint for the universe outlined this moment in time to include sentient and curious minds that would reside in a neural network of organic matter. An innate order of force drives it to ever-higher levels of emergent complexity.
  • In a computer, code is a sea of ever-changing numbers as electricity zips through the computer wiring and changes the states of electrons. But the ever-changing numbers of code are meaningless to most of us. For our convenience, the changing numbers of the code light up pixels on the screen. The pixels create images and text on the screen, allowing us to grasp the meaning of the underlying computer code.
