SO, JC GETS THE REDUX BAND BACK TOGETHER, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Western civilization’s “free to choose” cultures have been in a moral meltdown since the mid-1960s. The reasons are many. Listing these reasons is not germane to the task at hand. Concurrently, our founding democratic principles have been under attack from all sides. Academics who teach somewhat disguised socialism in K through 12 are accomplishing this up to the Ph.D. level. They are turning out large numbers of socialists who have become “God is dead” true believers by the time they graduate. Most of the media and the democrat-socialists also do their part.
Moral meltdown is not a problem for Islamic cultures. They have a moral enforcement mechanism that won’t quit. Communist cultures do the same, with different rules. Dictators rule the same way. Free to choose cultures, doing self-evaluation can slide into the waters of oblivion from time to time. Guardrails fall down, and debauchery is always just a shot away. When the whiskey ain’t working anymore, the debauchery goes away, one more time again. Christianity’s job is to keep things on an even keel.
The opiate epidemic pencils out some addicts. The rest, who aren’t so lucky, shoot up and wander around as homeless zombies. The Chinese fentanyl pouring through our open Southern border will soon kill addicts and non-addicts alike in unimaginable numbers. You have seen nothing yet.
Life is a choice with every breath you take and every move you make.
