Time is relentless and fleeting; it keeps slipping into the future. Time is a
continuous quantity in quantum mechanics and general relativity, but the rest of the story hasn’t been discovered. Combining quantum mechanics with general relativity will produce the theory of quantum gravity. Quantum gravity is the only force operating from the fundamental level of physics. From there, it interfaces with the quantum level of physics. This translation phase breaks time down from continuous to tiny discrete packages. Time becomes quantized.
Thinking that being ensconced within time is all sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows, re-think that. You are placed on the killing floor much of the time. The past is over, and the future is on the way. Your point of view puts you here now, so be here, now.be here now. You can’t write a history book about the future. When we talk, we’re exchanging information. Black holes radiate out information. Information underlies all of the processes in the universe. At the quantum level, all operations are reversible. The information web is two-dimensional. It only takes three lines of code to become operational. In quantum mechanics, two can be 1. (0, and 1 simultaneously).
Three are 1,1 is 3, and everything else is 2.
Is this a super deterministic universe? Superdeterministic models are deterministic in the usual sense. But they also postulate correlations between the measured state and the measurement setting. A super deterministic universe is a loophole in Bell’s theorem. It attempts to rationalize super determinism at the quantum level. It would help if you denied Bell’s realism to get around Bell’s theorem.
The wave functions are the building blocks of the quantum mechanics reality. Measurement collapses the wave function. In quantum mechanics, realism means an object is there whether it is observed or not. Locality influences the space between A and B at the speed of light or less. While quantum entanglement always breaks locality. It is a conspiracy of interaction. Everything has a past causal action.
Subjectivity and objectivity can be viewed as opposite poles on a continuum. Our collective subjective perception/interpretation of reality approaches objectivity. Reality can be discerned as aggregate subjective realities that could lead to objective reality. Consciousness is subjective. Reality is what you perceive it to be. Reality is objective, but our perceptions of reality are subjective. We do not see all of reality because we can’t see its fifth dimension. The perception of our senses is reality’s starting point for us. Next, our mind captures a photo of our reality’s moving picture. Our mind then processes and analyses the scene. We then decide what to do, if anything. Finally, we catalog and store it for retrieval on demand.
