The Creator/Designer belief was in control of science.
Then came Scientistic materialism: Materialism is the philosophical belief that the world is made of material and no other entity types (things). Everything is composed of material. Items that are not made of material, such as consciousness, result from actions by the material. In other words, the matter is the only real substance.
A form of philosophical monism that holds that matter is the fundamental substance in nature and that all things, including mental states and consciousness, are results of material interactions.
The most popular form of monism is probably physicalism, the idea that only physical stuff exists. There is no such thing as a soul or an abstract object independent of physicality. The scientific world view has changed to an implicit there is no God. In the 1700s, the enlightenment of philosophy set in. Overnight, every scientific discipline went to a “there is no God point of view.” A Design/Creator position was penciled out as being false. The lens through which the world is viewed changed overnight. Particles showed up, and they evolved into living stuff, then one of the live things started thinking about themselves.
I ANUNGUILDED RANDOM VARIATION BECAME THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIGHT. CHEMICAL REACTIONS FROM A PRIMORDIAL SOUP BEGOT BIOLOGICAL ONES. AN UNDIRECTED NATURAL PROCESS CAUSED LIFE FORMS TO COME FORTH.
The elite culture controls the scientific narrative. They also subscribe to the Marx dictum that religion is the opiate for the masses.
The knowledge culture today is ruled by materialism, both literally and figuratively. The prime reality question is: Does God rule the universe, or does unguided matter and energy acting within space and time get the job done? Free to choose. The materialists need to walk away from their religion. Leave at your own chosen speed. Reality is about to set in.
It is estimated that there are 200 billion galaxies in the universe that can be seen. Each one has a few billion stars within. We don’t know how many additional galaxies existing beyond the lit-up universe. The speed of light ain’t fast enough to keep up and get back to us. The new light is on the way.
