Entropy is a scientific concept and a measurable physical property that is most commonly associated with a state of disorder, randomness, or uncertainty. Thermodynamics is the branch of physics that deals with the relationships between heat and other forms of energy. It describes how thermal energy is converted to and from other forms of energy and how it affects matter. Energy is related to heat flow.
Entropy is more than a measure of disorder. The more fundamental explanation is that entropy is information. In information theory, the entropy of a random variable is the average level of “information,” “surprise,” or “uncertainty” inherent in the variable’s possible outcomes.

The entropy of an object is a measure of the amount of energy unavailable to do work. Entropy is also a measure of the number of possible arrangements the atoms in a system can have. Maxwell’s demon is a thought experiment created by the physicist James Clerk Maxwell in 1867 in which he suggested how the second law of thermodynamics might hypothetically be violated.[1] In the thought experiment, a demon controls a small door between two compartments of gas. As individual gas molecules approach the door, the demon quickly opens and shuts the door so that only fast molecules are passed into one of the chambers, while only slow molecules are passed into the other. Because faster molecules are hotter, the demon’s behavior causes one chamber to warm up and the other to cool down, thereby decreasing entropy and violating the second law of thermodynamics. This thought experiment has provoked debate and theoretical work on the relation between thermodynamics and information theory extending to the present day. Several scientists argue that theoretical considerations rule out any practical device violating the second law in this way.

The third law states that the entropy of a perfect crystal of a pure substance approaches zero as the temperature approaches zero. An ideal crystal’s alignment leaves no ambiguity for each part of the crystal’s location and orientation. A CRYSTAL SOLID IS AT ALMOST AT ZERO DISORDER.
The zeroth law of thermodynamics states that if two bodies are in thermal equilibrium with some third body, they are also in equilibrium. This says, in essence, that the three bodies are all the same temperature.
There are three systems: 1st: A closed system (A piston system without valves). 2nd: An open system ( A piston system with valves). 3rd: An isolated system (A thermos bottle). Energy isn’t created or destroyed; it only changes form (The conservation of matter &/or energy laws).

Enthalpy is the amount of internal energy in a compound, whereas entropy is the compound’s intrinsic disorder. An enthalpy is technically a form of energy.
The total entropy of an object and its surroundings can never decrease. Heat increases an object’s entropy; work decreases an object’s entropy. Heat always flows from a hot item to a colder one. The larger the volume of gas, the higher the entropy. The gas expands into the maximum amount of space available to it. Only an applied force can squeeze it down to a smaller size. Gas heats up as it is compressed.

Isodynamic: Connecting or showing points on the earth’s surface having an equal magnetic intensity. An isobaric process occurs at constant pressure. An isobaric expansion of gas requires heat transfer to keep the pressure constant. An isochoric process is where the volume is held constant, meaning that the system’s work will be zero. The only change will be that a gas gains internal energy.
