Entropy is a scientific concept and measurable physical property most commonly associated with disorder, randomness, or uncertainty. Thermodynamics is the branch of physics that deals with the relationships between heat and other forms of energy. The second law of thermodynamics establishes the concept of entropy as a physical property of a thermodynamic system.
