Consciousness is part of the cosmic fabric. We can explain consciousness as an integrated information system. Consciousness is unobservable. Consciousness produces know thoughts that provide a singular point of view. Consciousness, not matter, is the essence of all existence. Mind and matter both exist. A rock is a rock (a quantity), and a thought is a thought (quality). Matter exists independently of consciousness.
