  • The 1967 War changed things for Israel. Israel tripled in land mass. They started on a path of expansion, land, and population growth. They took the good stuff. Wars followed. America backed Israel from the start and still does. Expansion took off in the early 1970s. The United Nations authorized a two-state solution at that time. The resolution offered peace and security for both. Palastine refused. The Arabs thought that the Israelites had become Nazis. That opinion still prevails today. Israel believed that might would provide the protection they needed. A religious national government was put in place. Guardian Councils were activated. Occupation and repression were used as required. The Jews were reclaiming their lands. They were following God’s plan.
