- In the Cambrian Explosion, most of the major animal phyla groups appeared with fully developed body plans. Almost every metazoan phylum with complex parts and many that lack complicated features made its first appearance in the Cambrian Explosion. This burst of evolution may have only occurred for around 20 million years – actually very brief in the grand scheme of Earth’s history. It’s when most of the few dozen central animal body plans first appear in the fossil record and diversify. The middle of the Cambrian Period began with an extinction event. This increase in available ecological niches set the stage for the abrupt radiation in life forms in the Cambrian Explosion. A mass extinction event closed the Cambrian Period.
- Within a window of a few million years, you get trilobites with hard exoskeletons from Spain and Morocco to Siberia, China, and Australia.
- Before the Cambrian explosion, most organisms were relatively simple, composed of individual cells or tiny multicellular organisms, occasionally organized into colonies. As the rate of diversification subsequently accelerated, the variety of life became much more complex and began to resemble todays. Almost all present-day animal phyla appeared during this period. Bacteria and green algae can’t act as starter kits for animal body parts. There is no satisfactory Darwinian answer to why we do not find rich fossiliferous deposits belonging to these assumed earliest periods before the Cambrian system. It was caused by a quick spurt at the start, during which all the major animal body plans came into being. There was a brief burst of accelerated evolution initially; then it flat-lined for the Cambrian’s rest.
- God’s blueprint and coding caused the spurt is the answer.
- Common descent is an effect of speciation, in which multiple species derive from a single ancestral population. Darwinists maintain that: ” we don’t need fossils to demonstrate that evolution is a fact.”
- Evolution explains the survival of the species but not the arrival of the species. The theory of a revised Theistic Elvelotion needs to drive the finalized idea of the origin and evolvement of life forms on Earth. Change over time acting on random variations, caused by the unguided natural selection mechanism that produces life forms, ain’t the way things work. Get natural—ditto for randomly accomplishing undirected sequencing of the chemical characters in a DNA molecule.
- A natural process of trial and error can’t result in creating life within eternity or more. Theistic evolution did the job. The evolutionary process can accomplish minor changes; a significant evolutionary change has never been documented.
- The origin of phenotypic complexity: Phenotypic Integration occurs when multiple functionally-related traits are correlated with each other. Complex phenotypes often require numerous characteristics working together to function correctly. Phenotypic integration is significant because it explains how relationships between traits sustain phenotypes. Every organism’s phenotype is integrated, organized, and a functional whole. Integration is also associated with available modules. Modules are complex.
- The origin of the large scale features:
- Punctuated equilibrium is commonly contrasted against phyletic gradualism, the idea that evolution generally occurs uniformly and by the steady and gradual transformation of whole lineages (called anagenesis). In this view, change is seen as generally smooth and continuous.[2] This sudden expansion of species diversity into new ways of life is known as adaptive radiation. The story of the mammals is only one example of adaptive radiation, a process that has happened repeatedly, at scales both large and small, in evolutionary history. Today’s astonishing diversity of mammalian species stems in part from the continuing breakup of the continents that began some 200 million years ago and sent different landmasses moving apart.
- The origin of non-gradual modes of transition. In evolutionary biology, punctuated equilibrium is a theory that proposes that once a species appears in the fossil record, the population will become stable, showing little evolutionary change for most of its geological history. This state of little or no morphological change is called stasis.
- There is no bridge to the existence of life. A prebiotic existence as a precursor that occurs before the emergence of life is a pipe dream.
- The proposition that existence precedes essence (is a central claim of existentialism, which reverses the traditional philosophical view that the essence of a thing is more fundamental and immutable than its existence.
- To existentialists, human beings—through their consciousness—create their values and determine a meaning for their life because the human being does not possess any inherent identity or worth.
-
EXISTENCE + FREEDOM OF CHOICE + RESPONSIBILITY = ESSENCE.
