C S LEWIS ON RETURNING CHRISTIANITY TO WHAT IT ORIGINALLY WAS 1ST

Mere Christianity Audio Book By C.S. Lewis - Disc 2 of 5
Where do I start with CS Lewis?
It will help if you read everything he’s ever written. Still, a couple of good follow-up books to start with are The Screwtape Letters, a novel written as a series of letters between a demon and his protégé, and C.S. Lewis–A Life by Alister McGrath.
By presenting a defense of the Christian faith that appealed to reason, Lewis removed obstacles to the belief that most people in our world face today. By restoring motivation to its rightful place, Lewis showed how Christianity could appeal to those earnestly seeking answers to the great questions of life.
Chronological order is the best way to read C S LEWIS.

  • The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (1952) [Amazon]
  • The Silver Chair (1953) [Amazon]

Lewis and Tolkien first met in 1926 at a Merton College English Faculty meeting. … The two soon became fast friends — even though Lewis had established himself in the literature faction of the English faculty, while Tolkien placed himself firmly on the linguistics and history of languages side. Six years after the last installment of Chronicles of Narnia, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the franchise is finally being revived with an adaptation of the fourth book. According to Entertainment Weekly, TriStar Pictures announced that The Silver Chair will be adapted into a feature film.
