Scatter kindness and goodness around as you go through life.
Vern Bender
A blanket of love protects you from their lies. Don’t let evil thoughts define you.
Their fuel of hatred stokes up the fear within you. Don’t let the bastards get you down; find new ways to take them out. Hate avoidance is good for you.
Sunlight always fades into darkness, but the sun will rise again. Always be here now. Change the world by the words you speak. Abstract and esoteric chatter fades away back into what it used to be. We beg your pardon; you can’t return to where you were once. Reality becomes surreal when your thoughts get in the way. There are many shades of gray.
Getting real is dependent upon who’s asking; only the weak obey. A mandate doesn’t always result in a winning hand. Hold onto some of the images from your past, and decide what to leave in and what to leave out from the images of today. Future images are only wishful dreams.
Looking forward to tomorrow is what happened in the past. Now, we look back to see how it used to be. Captain America can’t play hero anymore; Casper, the friendly ghost, has flown to the coast, with Heckle and Jeckle leading the way. Marie Lavoe’s mojo ain’t workin’ no more, and her voodoo isn’t what it used to be. Do Right Mamma ain’t gonna do right no more. Bonzo sits in his corner, drinking gin and talking trash. There is no bedtime for Bonzo when he’s tossing a fifth of gin and fixing to go to Disneyland.
Because Barry Goldwater didn’t win, John Birch left Orange County and is hiding in a warehouse in East L.A. The City of Angels had turned its back on him.
Common sense is at an all-time low. The revolution without end hasn’t begun yet. Easy was around a long time ago. Scammers on my left and right, and I’m stuck in the desert with no name.
Scatter kindness and goodness around as you go through life. Guilt has never been a virtue; don’t allow others to design your life for you.
Death is a transition. You can only see death one way until it is your turn to die. Your soul doesn’t die; it goes elsewhere. Death is a binary choice; you made your choice long ago.
