When human consciousness had reached the necessary level, God plugged everyone’s consciousness into His motherboard in the sky. Everyone’s soul component went live at the same time. We’ve been online ever since. Every move you make, and every thought you take is recorded on your hard drive in the sky. When you die, your digital record is judged as a keeper or a throw-away. The consciousness units that are kept start doing God’s work.
Useless, rejected consciousness units get to hang out with Lucifer’s crowd in Hell.
