The New Left does not defend democracy; its goal is to destroy democracy. Instead of shoring up America’s democratic institutions, the New Left wants to burn them down. Every time a black person gets killed by the police or a white person, blacks and their supporters riot in the streets, demanding justice. The dead black man is lionized, justified, and sanctified even when his arrest sheet is three feet long.
