Who or what wrote the laws of the universe?
No, randomness did not come up with a universe. A roll of the dice did not produce the universe’s first cause. The materialist’s religion is this: There was nothing but an absolute void, no space, and time had not kicked in yet. The universe was without form. What caused this non-existent something to fluctuate? By chance, a fluctuation that existed in nothing caused a random explosion.
Saving science from the ignorant masses and defending a materialist worldview is the aim of many scientists, academics, and intellectuals.
- Many scientists believe they must base their work strictly on materialism in today’s culture. Conversely, Christianity preaches from a two-thousand-year-old narrative. They don’t want to revise their message, but an update incorporating today’s scientific knowledge must happen. Christianity needs to include scientific truths in its preaching by:

The quantum level then sends that transformative entity to the classic level of physics. What you see is what you get. They hide the rest from your view. You only get to see the players on the stage.
Christianity addresses life’s moral, ethical, and spiritual aspects, while science defines the physical characteristics of the universe and our life within it. Science focuses on testable claims and hypotheses, whereas religion focuses on individual beliefs. The goals should be mutual.

The new atheism is relentless in its opposition to organized religion. They bloviate in a condescending and combative way. The four horsemen have led the charge. (Dawkins, Hitchens, Dennett, and Harris).
Richard Dawkins believes the universe has no design or purpose and nothing but blind and pitiless indifference. Things can self-assemble due to chance arrangements of atoms because of random quantum fluctuations (only on the road to oblivion). Humility, open-mindedness, and tolerance are absent in the practice of atheism.
The principle of mediocrity states we should expect to be average and typical. We are one of many others. Get over yourself.
Faith and the freedom to worship sustain people during unstable times. Faith gets stronger during and after tough times. Without Christianity, Americans no longer have a common culture.
