The serene sky was banished abruptly.
Lightning lit up the darkening sky, hitting the ground at times. The roar of thunder rattles the window panes. Rain cascades down, flowing where it can.
The demons of the night seek a place to hide away. Our invisible enemy fights fiercely, day and night. Our enemy won’t be devouring anyone tonight.
You have yet to see tigers lying down with lambs at night. Angels perched in trees, waiting for evil to come by. Evil stays invisible to convince you it is just a myth. You will feel an almost silent breath of wind when evil enters in. Your battle is just beginning.
An atheist’s point of view is a self-inflicted act of arrogance and ignorance. Choosing the unguided buildout of life over an Intelligent Designer, is arrogance personified. An atheist is a dead man walking, awaiting death’s arrival. The battle for his soul is over. Evil had reached his reason and judgment. Dead man walking.
FEELINGS PRECEDE THOUGHT, MOST OF THE TIME.
Preludes come and go, but most matter not. Gastly images of despair go flashing by in the mind’s eye. Unjust tyranny is everywhere. Anguish and torment are constant companions to many. They are born free until they get chained up. Most never get unchained again.
Wind-swept clouds are streaming rapidly by. A few are reflected in the pond and the babbling brook. Island clouds reflect in the stream until they move on. In the twinkling of an eye, they are gone.
Solitude is but a memory now. The canopy of raucous sounds is all around. The freedom of light streams where it might until the night takes it away. Wickedness whispers your name in the still of the night. Visions spring from a passing dream as you slumber into the night. An image of a Byronic hero appears and dissolves in your mind. Visions are ephemeral at best.
Critics who know little tear down those who know a lot. It’s a game the lessors play. Folks who long to go on pilgrimages seldom do. Morals are writhing away in the toxic culture of today. Peace and serenity is often a bridge too far. Reason wins some and loses others. Rest in reason, and move in passion. Be vigilant and mindful as the battle for your soul rages on.
