Events occurring in the Universe do not just warp spacetime, but in some instances, can send ripples through this cosmic fabric of spacetime. This is accomplished by multimessenger astronomy. It combines ‘traditional’ observations of the Universe in the electromagnetic spectrum with the detection of gravitational waves, thus allowing us to observe objects that were previously invisible to us. These ripples travel from their source at the speed of light—the passage of gravitational waves squash and stretch space itself. The rate of light is constant for all observers.

Anything with mass—including your body—bends this four-dimensional cosmic grid. The warp, in turn, creates the effect of gravity, redirecting the path of objects that travel into it. As a result, you are experiencing spacetime with every breath you take and every move you make, and they are watching you.

Within the energy field, paradoxes abound. Deep space may be an optical illusion—the seeds of growth spring from gravity waves. Everything is tied together.
