What is consciousness? How do physical processes in the brain give rise to the self-aware mind?
The conscious mind contains all the thoughts, memories, feelings, and wishes of which we are aware. This is the aspect of our mental processing that we can think and talk about rationally.
Sentient consciousness is more than something just stored inside our brains. It emerges from elsewhere. We are the conduit of consciousness.

UNDERSTANDING HOW YOU THINK.
Each human brain has as many neurons as there are stars in the Milky Way.
We have two streams of consciousness (left brain and right brain). They instantly communicate and always agree. If they are disconnected, they can disagree. One side doesn’t talk.
The core data is held off-site, probably in your own data cloud. It is like a CPU without internal storage. All its data is held in a personal cloud.
Looking into the molecules that make up our neurons, they are 99.9% empty.
All particles pop in and out of existence in the quantum world. All things in the quantum world are waves of probability.
Consciousness emerges from our brain just like music does from a record player. The music isn’t found inside the record player; it emerges from a recording. We are just playing the recording. We are playing back the recorded music in our own way. .
When our billions of neurons fire off and communicate with each other, a conscious thought is born.
However, the more this emergent thought develops, it course-corrects along the way. It becomes a feedback loop of incredible complexity.
This feedback loop then generates a myriad of iterations and permutations to choose from. (It had reprogrammed the brain along the way). It then analyzes the consistent pattern of reality (again, a probability).
YOUR THOUGHT IS THEN ISSUED.
These infinite loops of thought processing are active until your system breaks down, fades away, or you die.
After your thought is issued, these loops move into a higher level of observing and evaluating, to dissect the patterns of your existence.
We are more than the sum of our parts.
Correct choices are the objective via reasoning and intuition.
We are feedback loops of choices.
We rewrite (alter)* our programming with every thought we do.
*Neuroplasticity: The brain’s ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. Neuroplasticity allows neurons (nerve cells) in the brain to adjust their activity in response to new situations or changes in the environment.
We debrief and reprogram with every breath we take, and every move we make. Better decision-making is the intended result.
The goal is to move from your brain’s default network to its task-positive network.
