Focus on your breath. The breath is a powerful anchor to the present moment. Observe the natural rhythm of your inhalation and exhalation without trying to change it. This helps pull your attention away from past regrets or future anxieties.
Engage your senses: notice what you can hear, feel, and smell in the present moment. This grounds you in your immediate physical surroundings.
Accept “not knowing”: When thoughts about the future or things you don’t understand arise, simply acknowledge them without judgment. Remind yourself it’s okay not to have all the answers right now and gently return your focus to your breath or sensory experience.
